This is Dr. Benedict Octo the night manager Geologist for S.A.N.D (Searchers Among Nomadic Dunes) Benedict and his arachnid partners work the caves at night searching for clues of where the humans could be. They use their silk that they produce to mark the places they have searched so the day crew doesn't search the same spots. They also use their silk to wrap artifacts they find to keep them safe so the Archaeologist can collect them the next day. They use their doctorates degrees in Geology to study the cave rocks to try and find the entrance to the lost city.
